The Nutritional Dentist is committed to taking your privacy and online safety very seriously. Data is collected through online forms, on the telephone, by email, in person or by way of referral from your existing dentist or healthcare professional

Why?

We are required by law and through regulatory bodies to collect information about patients or prospective patients in order to deliver safe and effective treatment. Special category information is stored by us in the strictest of confidence and is only made available to the clinicians directly involved in your treatment. Other staff may have access to certain pieces of personal data where necessary but only where this is necessary in the course of your treatment. Such as a receptionist who may have your basic contact information in order to arrange an appointment with you

Our work as a healthcare provider requires us to pass certain information about our patients to specific third parties such as the NHS. We will only share your data in this way where it is a regulatory or legal requirement and we will only share the data that is specifically required.

If this right is requested, we might continue to store your data but will not process it while this right is exercised.

  • The right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we allow you to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes across different services. Where technically feasible we will do this in a way that is secure, safe and without hindrance to usability.
